If you cannot make it to HQ next Sunday for the big game but still want to have a wager or two, we will be playing the usual games at the usual price of £1 per game. Attached is the price of the Superbowl players so you can enter your team (usual rules 1 x QB, 1 x K, 4 x Outfield Players for a maximum of $7.5m). The other games are First Player to Score (QB only if he runs it in), Half-time Score, Full-time score and leader by Quarter eg C,Tie,I,I. All-BUMS Voting Don’t forget to vote for your favourite players of 2006. Remember I need (in order) your top 3 Running Backs and top 3 Receivers plus your number 1 & 2 Quarterbacks, Kickers and Coaches. Vote for your players based on BUMS points, how much you enjoy them, what they meant to their BUMS roster/NFL team or just the fact they were on your roster. The deadline is this Wednesday (January 31st) so get your votes in as soon as possible. NFL in the UK As I’m sure you are all aware the NFL will stage it’s first ever regular season game in Europe in the UK next season. Details about the teams & venue may emerge this Friday (February 2nd) so checkout nfluk.com then. It looks like a BUMS day out is on the cards. Barber Cut-Off Giants RB Tiki Barber retired from the NFL with the highest rushing yards in a final season in NFL history, Barber had 1,662 yards this year surpassing Jim Brown who retired after posting 1,544 yards in 1965, Robert Smith 1,521 in 2000 and Barry Sanders 1,491 in 1998. In his last 7 seasons Barber combined for over 2,000 yards rushing & receiving every year. Coaching Changes Bill Parcells retired as Head Coach of Dallas last week. Since the end of the season 6 head coaching changes have been made. Arizona fired Dennis Green and hired Ken Whisenhunt (formerly Pittsburgh Offensive Coordinator), Atlanta fired Jim Mora hiring Bobby Petrino (Louisville Cardinals Head Coach), Nick Saban resigned in Miami who hired Cam Cameron (San Diego Offensive Co-ordinator.), Oakland sacked Art Shell and signed the youngest head coach in the NFL’s modern era 31 year old Lane Kiffin (USC Offensive Co-ordinator) and Bill Cowher retired in Pittsburgh where they hired Mike Tomlin (Minnesota Defensive Co-odinator). Dallas have interviewed Norv Turner & Wade Phillips amongst others so far. BUMS on Superbowl Seats Indianapolis will play Chicago in Superbowl XLI which is this Sunday (February 4th) in Miami. Sky’s coverage starts at 10pm, kick-off is around 11.20pm & Cher will be cooking a USA feast for 11pm so please let us know if you are coming by Saturday morning.
